Hello and welcome to the Active Wellbeing Brochure! In this brochure, you’ll discover the exciting range of activities offered by Active Wellbeing across the seven Coleg Sir Gar and Coleg Ceredigion campuses. Our active wellbeing menu is designed to be fun, inclusive, and diverse, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Our goal is to encourage as many students and staff as possible to participate in activities that enhance both physical and mental wellbeing. Engaging in regular exercise offers numerous health benefits, including: • Reduced stress levels • Boosted ‘feel good’ hormones (dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, and oxytocin) • Enhanced focus and concentration • Improved confidence • Development of leadership and team-building skills • Strengthened social connections and friendships Through Active Wellbeing, we challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and try new activities, whether it’s through sports or outdoor adventures. From badminton to stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) to coasteering, we encourage you to explore it all and find your passion. Let’s embark on this journey to a healthier, happier you!
