SUPPORT FOR LEARNERS WITH ADDITIONAL LEARNING NEEDS (ALN) • Coleg Sir Gâr and Coleg Ceredigion have a dedicated team to support learners with additional learning needs, disabilities and medical needs with staff available on every campus. • Our team works closely with curriculum staff to ensure that teaching and learning is accessible for all learners. You may feel that you do not need to access additional support as you manage well with universal provision (support that is available for all learners). • If you need additional provision, you may be able to access specialist teaching sessions with our team to support you in your studies. We can teach you strategies and techniques to support your learning including how to use assistive technology (such as reading software). • All support is person-centred and designed to build your independence in college and beyond. • Our ‘Support for Learners’ brochure contains more information:
